Minimum Qualifications
Need 7+ plus years of Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime Amazon AWS environment, including automation experience with configuration management tools.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Hands-on experience on Infrastructure as a Code: ex: Terraform / Cloud Formation
- Strong Hands-on experience in Containerization, Docker, EKS, ECS
- Strong hands-on experience in Bitbucket, Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline/implementation
- Scripting Skills: Strong scripting (e.g. Python, shell scripting) and automation skills.
- Hands-on Experience in EKS, ECS, AWS Code Deploy, Code Commit
- Sound knowledge and hands-on experience on AWS Services including ECS. And knowledge of Kubernetes would be preferred.
- Monitoring Tools: Experience with system monitoring tools (e.g. Nagios, Site 24X7).
- DB Skills: Basic DB administration experience (RDS, Dynamo DB, MySQL MongoDB), experience in setting up and managing of AWS Aurora databases.
- Problem Solving: Ability to analyze and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issues.
- ELK: Proficient in ELK setup
- Good knowledge of Linux OS and Virtual hosting
- GitHub: Experienced in maintaining and administering of GitHub
- Accountable for proper backup and disaster recovery procedures and hands-on experience in DR Setup
- Hands-on experience in Migration from on-premises to AWS or another cloud to AWS
- Hand-on Experience in Cloud Endure, DMS, and AMS
- Good to have Experienced with Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or Salt
- Hands-on experience in AWS services (Lambda/Glue, EC2, RDS, IAM roles, S3, Cloud Watch, Elastic Beanstalk, ELB, Auto Scaling, WAF, Guard Duty, etc)
