POSITION OVERVIEW
The Pre-Sales Executive supports sales productivity and deal flow by securing the complex solutions. The PSE collaborates with sales, service, engineering, and technical support resources to ensure proposed deals include technical solutions that accurately address customer needs, and are appropriately supported by key customer technical decision-makers. The PSE is responsible for achieving a profit and productivity quota made up of the combined expectations of the sales resources, market, and/or channel supported. Reporting to the COO the PSE reports on a dotted line to the sales manager or business line manager responsible for the sales team supported. 

 
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

Works deals assigned to the sales team supported, prioritizing effort based on maximizing total impact on team productivity and profit, or as directed by the sales manager. 

* Proactively scopes the technical solution required to address customer requirements, assesses customers' met and unmet needs, and recommends solutions that optimize value for both the customer and the firm.  

* Secures input from all necessary solution stakeholders within the customer firm. Adapts solutions, as necessary, to ensure appropriate support. 

* Coordinates closely with internal sales, sales support, and service resources to align solution design with customers' business requirements.

 * Providing presales Technical / Functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction with minimal supervision, through on-line sales efforts.  

* Previous Presales experience is a must.

* 3+ years of experience in building, developing and deploying Cloud solutions on AWS / Microsoft Azure/ Zimbra/ Google Compute. 

* Experience with AWS, Azure, Google Compute & other PaaS, IaaS and SaaS /or products. 

* Acting as a Technical resource for less experienced Sales Consultants and sales representatives. 

* Experience in a customer-facing role such as Consultant, Solutions Engineer or Solutions Architect. 

* Develop and manage reference sites through high quality technical, professional client relationships. 

* Helping sales teams develop and execute sales campaigns and Go-To-Market programs. 

* Strong Leadership and Communication Skills.  

* An understanding of application development and deployment concepts and tools.  

* Enthusiasm, energy and ability to evangelize Cloud solutions. 

* Support sales team in online/in-person selling efforts with minimal supervision. Develop and deliver proposed solution to customers. 

* Deep Understanding of Cloud Computing Technologies, business drivers and emerging computing trends. 

* Should be able to converse with CXO level leadership. 

* Able to participate in requirements gathering, gathering data requirements, and assisting in the reconciliation of technical requirements as they relate to CLOUD.  

* Deep Technical Knowledge in architecture, designing, and Integrating New Solutions in a large scale enterprise of highly distributed applications (i.e., having an architectural sense for ensuring availability, reliability, etc.)
