Primary skills: Linux / Windows Administration, Virtualization and DEVOPS

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in System Administration and Operations
• Extensive experience of managing Linux and Virtualization environments
• Working experience on OpenStack, Virtualization and Cloud Computing an added advantage
• Medium to expert knowledge in scripting-Perl, Shell with knowledge on python or ruby a plus
• Familiar with cloud operations including automation
• Can handle incidents/problem and should be able to build new systems
• Certification RHEL or any Virtualization
• Skilled in LINUX (networking, kernel parameters & tuning, troubleshooting system & performance issues, package management, patch mgmt.)
• Ability to manage cases to resolution, refresh/copy databases using Unix commands & scripts
• Basic level scripting (either shell or Perl should be fine) but should be capable of understanding other shell scripts
• Ability to work with users to detail service delivery requirements and system functionality/ work closely with DBAs, client teams and management
• Work in a 24 X 7 Environment (NOC).
• Extend technical support the Clients over email and phone.
• Good communication written and verbal.
• Responsible for the uptime of the various client projects being managed/monitored.
• Ensure that the tickets raised per shift are closed as per SLA and if not escalate as per the escalation Matrix defined.

Technical Skills:-

- Scripting - bash, ruby, python etc
- Virtualization and Cloud - VMWare, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, etc
- CI /CD - Jenkins, GitlabCI, etc
- Configuration Management - Chef, Puppet, Ansible etc
- Database - MongoDB, Mysql, Oracle, SQL etc
- Monitoring - Infra and Application monitoring, logging, alerting
